FSD just keeps getting better and better.

Automatic speed control has been fixed, but now the car has a similar problem in v11 where it will accelerate too hard on turns. FSD sometimes fails to stay centered in the lane, veering across lane lines on sharper turns. This does not occur when driving on highways. Additionally, it occasionally enters the wrong lane for navigation, though less frequently than in version 11

Some issues were fixed and others are new. One big issue I had with this update was FSD would frequently miss exits when it wasn’t in the lane in time. I had 2 consecutive misses because it didn’t get into the right lane in time.

Very good at hard tasks. Drives extremely close to the curb on wide open residential streets. Has a tendency to favor the right lane. Overall big improvement over v10/11. Auto max speed is very finicky, tries to do 40 in school zones during school hours and 10 mph when no school or people are present. Really wish we could slow it down using the scroll wheel. Highway stack needs to be updated as it is not great at picking a lane, always wants to be in the fast lane until the last second.

I am impressed with this version. I recently drove from Boston to Vermont to Quebec and had very few issues. I do think it sometimes gets too close to objects or executes maneuvers which are riskier than necessary (like passing traffic in the slow lane, weaving through traffic to meet the maximum speed possible). I would like a persistent "minimal lane change" feature. And I would like to see them fix "phantom wipes". Overall this update is on the right track but not perfect

Executed well over 10 mile drive with both highway and city streets

A "game changer" it is. Roundtrip Oakland, CA to Las Vegas, FSD dealt flawlessly with rain and major hail storms, wind gusts, loads of traffic. Only problems were that the car would not remain in slow lane, unless "minimal lane change" had been set each time. Also the perennial windshield wiper eccentricities, requiring constant manual adjustments. On "Auto" either too slow to start or erratic. Autopark is wonderful.

driving a bit smoother than 12.3.2.1. still uses brakes and regen to stop instead of all regen. still slows too quicky and then creeps up to the stopped vehicle in front. highway nag has been reduced appearing only when accelerator pedal is depressed, or when traffic is heavy. Love when traffic is light, no nag for 20+ miles! Love this supervised version!!
